Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need my own AWS account?
Yes. SESPilot is a dashboard ("GUI") for your own AWS SES account. You need to create an AWS account and connect it using IAM credentials. This ensures you get the lowest possible email sending rates directly from Amazon.
Why is my account in "Sandbox Mode"?
All new AWS SES accounts start in Sandbox Mode. This means you can only send emails to verified addresses. To send to your customers, you must request "Production Access" in your AWS console. We have a guide for this in the AWS Integration section.
Is there a limit on how many emails I can send?
SESPilot allows unlimited sends on paid plans. However, Amazon AWS has its own daily sending quotas (usually starting at 50,000/day) which increase automatically as you build a good reputation.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. You can cancel your subscription from your dashboard at any time. Your account will remain active until the end of your billing period.
